"The Seed" - Patience, Persistence, and Faith

If you read our first and only blog post on here, you will notice the confidence around an EP release for Summer 2023. Welp, we DID release our first single "Coming Home" in a very auspicious way - on the Summer Solstice 2023 from the mystical Isle of Avalon (if you know, you know). However, we have also learned what a tedious and sometimes maddening process recording and releasing music can be. So many lessons learned. So much trial and error around each aspect of the process. So much time and money invested. We have been thoroughly tested on our patience, persistence, and faith with this process of birthing our song babies. We have been learning to trust the divine timing beyond our own, and witnessing the magic as each song first works its message and alchemy on us before being sent out to the collective world. It's actually quite profound.

With that being said, we are finally releasing our newest single "The Seed" out into the void after MANY months of, you guessed it, patience, persistence, and faith. And even a bit of questioning whether this one would actually be released, or if we would just start from scratch yet again It's like the saying goes, "Art is never finished, only abandoned", and this can be a grueling aspect of artistry - finding completion. But come March 7th, this little seed is blossoming out into the world!

"The Seed" was birthed in Montezuma, Costa Rica in March 2024 after Brian, as per usual, just started playing some mystical, heart-expanding guitar riff straight from the Heavens. My parents drifted softly into my heart, and I was focusing on their inner children and what I would say to them if I had the chance when they were little. If I could plant a message into them that would've stuck and perhaps changed their fates of suicide. What voice of encouragement could have mothered them into a sense of purpose and faith in dreams? This is what came through me in those moments and served as a beautiful vibration of uplifting and encouraging messages. The main lyrics and melodies came through with ease in one go and exactly like you will hear them in the finished product.

Like most of our songs, it felt like a magical portal opened and some beautiful, angelic message of encouragement came pouring both through us and to us. Of course we have to share this with you! We hope that this song will encourage and uplift you just as it did us. We hope that you will have faith in your biggest gifts and dreams, not allowing anyone EVER to convince you that you are not enough. The ceremony of this song is for the celestial dreamers out there creating a new world and shattering all of the limitations of this existence. This one's for YOU!
